Reflections Arts Competition

Timeframe: Fall
Start your imagination! ‘Reflections’ is a national, cultural arts competition where students create their own original works in one of the following categories: literature, music composition, photography, visual arts, film/video, dance/choreography. The theme for 2017-2018 is ‘Within Reach’. Deadline for submissions is October 3rd.
Engineering Night

Last year Cascade Ridge hosted its first ever Engineering Night. It was a great success and will be returning this year on February 27. Come learn engineering principles and dynamics in designing, building, and re-engineering, among many more exciting topics
Geography BEE

The Cascade Ridge Geography Bee has returned! The Bee will be held on December 12. Stay tuned for more details in the Howler!
Spelling BEE
Chair: Reham Shehata
Timeframe: February 5th, 6th, & 8th.
The Spelling Bee is always a wildly popular event at Cascade Ridge. It will be held February 5, 6 and 8. This is a great way to help students improve their spelling and increase their vocabulary in a fun and supportive environment. Students will study at home and then compete in the Bee.
Science Fair

Timeframe: March
The Science Fair is always a much-anticipated and fun event. It allows students to explore and experiment with a topic of their choice. Students work on their project at home and proudly display their work at the Fair. Demonstrations of science in action are also at the event. Join all our budding scientists on March 22, 6-8 pm for a spectacular scientific show! Please note: We are still in need of a volunteer to chair the fair! Eager Reader

Timeframe: January 8th
Eager Reader is a voluntary reading incentive program, designed to foster a love of books and reading. Students read outside of school to earn weekly prizes. Each minute spent reading counts toward both individual and class totals for earning fun prizes. Eager Reader will start on January 8th and continue for four weeks.
Coyote Art Walk

Timeframe: May 15, 6-8 pm
The Art Walk will return in 2018 ! This family-friendly event allows students to showcase the artwork they have been creating all year long in a fun and lively way. The halls of Cascade Ridge will come alive with color, creation and artistry. Join us on May 15, 6-8 pm. Please note: We are still in need of a volunteer to chair the Art Walk!
